Hi. Does anyone have an example itinerary for library staff visiting neighboring libraries? I was hoping to provide some form of roadmap for our patron service staff to visit and spark ideas. They are very capable of going about it on their own, but figured it was worth asking the library collective-mind for some previous successes. Thanks. Our staff have visited area libraries for Staff Development Day and it's really great if the Director of the library can give a tour and answer questions. We've been treated with such kindness and generosity at the libraries we've visited. We've found that these visits spark all kinds of ideas - a very worthwhile use of time!
