Please pardon the cross-posting . . . In case he hasn't yet reached market saturation in the library world, I want to give a shout-out to amateur historian Larry Martin (lmww2.com) for his World War II In Their Own Words program. He recently presented his interview with Fred Bahlau to our patrons, and despite some technical problems, it was well-received. Larry is very friendly and knowledgeable, and his interviews are fascinating. I also recommend Brian Rose (bgrosepresents.com). Brian, a professor emeritus at Fordham University, gives Zoom lectures on film and television history. He gave a presentation about the history of the Walt Disney Company for us last month, and it was fun and interesting. He offers webinars on many topics; we're having him back to discuss censorship in Hollywood later this month. "I read everything. The library fed me." --Louise Erdrich, when asked 'What kind of reader were you as a child?'
