Author Beverly Lewis, whose novels give an insider’s view of Amish life, will stop in Battle Creek to promote her newest book, “The First Love.” Lewis will talk at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, at the Kool Family Community Center, 200 W. Michigan Ave. Her talk, which is sponsored by Willard Library, is free and open to the public.
