Hello, I need a recommendation for a good quality yet economical DVD repair machine. Thanks! Lindsey Dorfman, MLIS. Lindsey, Our staff has been happy with the "Skip Doctor," with the small exception that it's pretty loud when in use. As a result, most of the skip doctoring has happened in the morning before we open. I hope all is well with you and your projects in Allegan! Hi Lindsey and All, We use the Skip Dr. at the Lansing Community College Library as well. If you do a moderate or high volume of resurfacing, I would suggest buying multiple wheels, as they wear down after more than about 20 uses. Apart from that, no complaints, and it's very affordable.
