Greetings-- Bloomfield Township Public Library is looking for an enthusiastic, energetic librarian committed to high quality public library service. Bloomfield Township Public Library is a class 5 library with a service population of 44,000+ people and a $10.9 million operating budget. There is strong community support for the Library and its collections, services, and programs. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to provide quality public service and the desire to work in a collaborative team environment. POSITION TITLE: Librarian DEPARTMENT: Adult and Teen Services, reporting to Department Head HOURS: Full-time, 37.5 hours weekly. Includes evenings and weekends on a flexible basis. Paid time and a half on Sundays. WAGES & BENEFITS: $28.23 per hour, increasing to $28.65 per hour upon successfully completing a 90-day orientation period.
