Jen, Good evening from Traverse City! We have two modern Mac OS based computers in the lab at our main branch, but like Dennis suggested, we use Deep Freeze and generally don't allow users to install their own applications (for reasons related to security, maintainability, and licensing). That said, if a needed application has a free or low cost license and doesn't require a ton of maintenance, we like to respond to patron requests. I'd be interested in what applications the patron in question needs to run for her class. Cheers, Scott W.
