History of Detroit's Thanksgiving Day Parade Thursday, November 13, 7-8:30pm Join us at the Novi Library when Romie Minor, author, librarian/archivist for the Burton Historical Collection at the Detroit Public Library and head archivist for The Parade Company in Detroit, will present a historic and entertaining look at the second oldest Thanksgiving parade in the United States. The presentation will include historic photographs and anecdotes from his book Detroit's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Copies of the book will be available for sale and signing.
