MeL Minute - Glassdoor.com partnership

Hi all, Michigan's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for April, 2016 was 4.8%. While good progress has been made and we are actually below the national rate of 5%, there will always be individuals seeking first time jobs or their next opportunity. A resource that may be useful is found in the MeL Jobs Gateway<http://mel.org/jobs> under Job Posting Sites: National. Glassdoor.com<http://www.glassdoor.com/index.htm> is a "...free inside look at jobs and companies. Salary details, company reviews, and interview questions - all posted anonymously by employees and job seekers." Available for "...library patrons without having to post information of their own." Statewide Michigan access via MeL is made possible through the library partnership program that 700+ U.S. libraries participate in. A link to their product flyer (to print locally) is included in the description and explains the five steps to find the right job and get hired. Michigan residents or Michigan library access only. MeL Minutes are brought to you by the Library of Michigan. Want more information on MeL?
