2018 Research Institute for Public Libraries – REGISTRATION OPENS IN JANUARY The 2018 Research Institute for Public Libraries (RIPL), is taking place July 29-August 1 at the Emory Conference Center Hotel<http://www.emoryconferencecenter.com/> in Atlanta, Georgia. The event is limited to 110 participants. Previous RIPL events have sold out in minutes, so please take care to watch the calendar and register as early as possible for a seat. January 17-February 28, 2018: Early bird registration will open to the general public on January 17 at 1:00 PM Eastern/10:00 AM Pacific via the event website<https://ripl.lrs.org/>. The institute fee is $1,200 and payment must be made by credit card. March 1 – July 28, 2018: The institute fee will increase to $1,350 on March 1. Payment must be made by credit card. If you need to cancel your registration, your payment will be refunded (minus a $35 processing fee) if a replacement is found to take your spot. In previous years we’ve maintained a waiting list and will do the same in 2018 if the event fills.
