Teens and Parents - Are You Ready for Summer? Don't let the fun lead you into trouble with the Law. Cynthia Ward is a licensed attorney who previously served as the Assistant Dean of Students at Thomas M. Cooley Law School. As Assistant Dean, Ms. Ward was responsible for enforcing the law school's Honor Code and Disciplinary Procedures. She has also served a number of times as an "Honorary Judge" for the Teen Court Program. Ms. Ward is active in her community, having previously served on the board for the Lansing Area AIDS Network, the City of Lansing Park Board, and as a commissioner for the Lansing Board of Water & Light. She also provided pro bono assistance to the homeless through Cooley's Homeless Assistance and Prevention Project. She currently works for the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, where she ensures the department's compliance with privacy and federal non-discrimination laws.
