*AVAILABLE POSITION:* Part-time Library Intern, Public Services Department, Marshall District Library *WORK SCHEDULE:* 15 hours per week, including evening and weekend hours. Schedule to be arranged upon hiring. Employment will begin by January 6, 2013 and continue until May 2013. *PAY RATE:* $10.69 per hour, no benefits. *JOB SUMMARY:* Regular duties include providing direct reference, readers' advisory and circulation services for patrons of all ages. Interns will participate in projects related to youth programming and library marketing efforts. Interns may also participate in collection development activities. *REQUIREMENTS:* Preferred candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree and will have completed some coursework in a Master degree program for Library and Information Science. Consideration will be given to interns in undergraduate degree programs who have an interest in child development, marketing or library services. Candidate must be committed to customer service excellence.
