Good morning, Our library is looking to host a beekeeping program in late summer/early fall. Does anyone have recommendations for an apiarist/beekeeping presenter in the mid-Michigan area? Marla, I can second Jean’s recommendation. We really liked them, and their Facebook page is full of images of library visits. We have had Dave Putt, Beekeeper and Master Gardener do programs for adults and he is doing a program for kids in May. He is in northern Macomb County but he might be willing to travel. We have enjoyed the presentations by Thornapple Woodlands. We have hosted them for the bee presentation as well as the maple syrup presentation. He was very well received.
