We in Romeo created a Tough Topics bookmark several years ago. I've attached it here. Lieca Hohner Romeo District Library On 2025-06-12 12:00 pm, michlib-l-request@mcls.org wrote:

Good morning Michigan libraries!
Several years ago, I had seen a post on Reddit in which someone had photographed a 'tough topics' poster at a public library. The poster showed patrons where they might find some very important subjects that they might be hesitant to ask a librarian about, due to their sensitive nature.
I asked one of my department's Technology Training Associates to create one for us (shout out to Kayla Steeby for her work on this ?) so that we could update, customize, and possibly print these to display around our department.
I haven't seen anything like this for sale, so we thought we would just go ahead and make one ourselves and share it with anyone interested. I think this could be very helpful in empowering patrons to utilize library resources at their own comfort level.
If anyone is interested, I have here a link to a sharable Canva template<https://www.canva.com/design/DAGp_6MkQvw/xc4DgkY551QsUEE7Z20w1w/edit?utm_content=DAGp_6MkQvw&utm_campaign=designshare&utm_medium=link2&utm_source=sharebutton [1]>, please just make yourself a copy that you can edit, print, download, etc.
Thank you everyone, and Happy Wednesday!
