The librarian will serve as a liaison to the Seidman College of Business during the interim appointment. Responsibilities include supporting student learning and faculty teaching through instruction on the use of print and electronic resources; research assistance through reference consultations via person-to-person, email, and telephone interactions; collection development activities, and weekly office hours held at Seidman College of Business. In addition, the librarian assists with library instruction for WRT 150: Strategies in Writing. The successful candidate will work 28 hours/week starting January 8, 2017, primarily weekdays with occasional adjustment of hours for evening and/or weekend classes. This position is located on the Grand Rapids Campus of GVSU with occasional travel to the campus in Allendale for meetings and instruction. There are no expectations of scholarship or service for this adjunct librarian however, opportunities may be pursued if time permits.
