Hello Everyone, This past Saturday, September 30, Dr. Thomas Henthorn from the University of Michigan-Flint and a few of his students were kind enough to come to Baroda and do a Cemetery Preservation Workshop for us. It was an informative program and it was well received by many of our patrons. If you want to know more, please contact Dr. Henthorn at henthorn@umich.edu. Thanks, Brian R. Johnston Adult Services Librarian Lincoln Township Public Library 2099 W. John Beers Road Stevensville, MI 49127 (269) 429-9575 bjohnston@lincolnlib.org

Hi Brian, Please consider adding this program and presenter to NRR (https://nrr.ninja/) No Reservation Recommendations. It is a great collaboration for librarians! Thank you, Laura Laura Fromwiller, Director Brandon Township Public Library (248) 627-1474 If you are looking for a vendor or program recommendation, the “No Reservation Recommendations” website is here to provide options that have been submitted by your Michigan-based colleagues. Prof. Henthorne and crew were in Grand Ledge just before the tornado in August-- they were great and it's a fascinating program! Seeing the stones "whiten up" over a few weeks is cool, and the gantry crane in action is awesome! Getting the local approvals took planning to make the infrequent Library Board meetings, and get the information that was requested by local officials for approval. Plan ahead to keep officials happy. On Mon, Oct 2, 2023 at 3:12 PM Laura Fromwiller via Michlib-l < michlib-l@mcls.org> wrote:
