Personally and professionally, I suggest Sticker App https://stickerapp.com/?utm_content=brandedsearch&gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI9IDRn5jDiQMV6QetBh3pRjKjEAAYASAAEgKyh_D_BwE
I have a 4 year old sticker from StickerApp (personal purchase) and the Hastings Public Library has since used stickers from them for 2 years with great results.
As proof of durability, I have these stickers on my metal water containers that over the years have been submerged in sink water for long periods, through the dishwasher, outdoor activities, ridden loose in the back of a farm truck, etc. and though the water bottle looks worse for wear the stickers have held up nicely.

Hello Library Land,
We're adding to our library swag collection after letting it dwindle, and we want to add vinyl stickers. I tested some that came on a big sheet which look nice, but we have to hand cut them out which is proving to be very monotonous. We would like lots of options for placing our designs, but maybe find a company with pre-cutting options.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a company?
Thanks so much!

Hello,
We also use ICHAT, but they don't charge us since we're a library. See the page, *How to register as an Agency in the new ICHAT system, * https://apps.michigan.gov/Home/ViewHelpTutorialPDFDoc on their website.

At West Branch we use IChat. It is the Michigan State Police site. It cost $10. for each person you check. When you get to the homepage login as a guest. They do take credit cards for payment. It is fast and easy to use.

We've never done background checks for staff or volunteers, but with our outreach vehicle almost ready to go, we are going to start. How does this work? Is there a company you use? What is the cost and timeframe? What else should I know? Thanks for any help you can give! Perri

Librarians,
Does you library charge for scanning documents to an email directly from you printer or to your public computers? If you charge do you give a certain number free?

We also stopped charging for printing, copying, and faxing during COVID, and we never went back. We have a sign and donation box by the copier saying the service is free but donations are welcome, and we bring in as much or more than we did when we were charging 15 cents a page for B/W and a quarter a page for color. Bonuses: staff is not spending any time making change or debating with a patron about whether they meant to print B/W or color, and balancing the cash register at night is soooo much faster and easier. (Except for when someone dumps all the sticky change from their car cupholders into the box, but that doesn't happen very often.) The community goodwill it generates is worth mentioning, too.
Good luck with whatever you decide.
