We are reconsidering the organization of the youth DVD collection and would like to take a survey of how other Michigan libraries choose to organize their collections. It would be helpful if you could give us feedback on the following: Do you separate based on rating(G & PG) or do you keep them together but provide a label for the rating? How much information do you present on the spines (first letter of title, 3 letters of title, or whole title, etc)? If you label and organize by more than the first letter what kind of impact does the greater organization have on your staff's time and ability to keep things in order? Do you do anything special with tv shows/series? Thank you for your time!
