Job Posting - Student Engagement Librarian

Hello, The University of Michigan-Dearborn Mardigian Library seeks a motivated, enthusiastic, service oriented individual to join our instruction team. The Student Engagement Librarian will work collaboratively with colleagues in the Library Research Center and the User Services Team to develop online, blended, and mobile learning objects and teaching materials, as well as programming and outreach. The successful candidate will aspire to develop innovative approaches to outreach and programming and cultivate and celebrate the centrality of the Library to campus research and scholarship. This position is open to early-career librarians. We welcome applications from candidates that meet our minimum requirements, and we encourage you to speak to your experience and knowledge, including in positions outside of libraries and tell us how it may connect to some of the preferred qualifications for this position. Statistics show that women and members of historically excluded communities only apply if they feel they meet all the qualifications. We invite you to challenge those statistics as we'd appreciate your application.
