SNSR is an informal roundtable of librarians in Michigan working with people of all ages with special needs. Library Science students are welcome, too! Here is our December meeting's agenda: 1. Professional enrichment: 1 – 2 pm Presentation: “Accessible Programs in Museums for All Ages & Abilities” Caroline Braden, Accessibility Coordinator, The Henry Ford Chair, Michigan Alliance for Cultural Accessibility (MACA) Gain some valuable insight from the museum sector! Caroline will be talking about The Henry Ford’s sensory-friendly programming for families, autism advisory board, programs for people with dementia, and events for people with visual disabilities.
