I have received word that long-time Michigan librarian Doug Watson passed away Saturday, October 26 in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Doug spent his career at several county library systems, including Monroe, Wayne (where until 1974 Doug held the position that eventually evolved into my present-day job), Bay, and Macomb.
