Greetings, It's almost the beginning on a new fiscal year and consequently, budget time. In an effort to increase revenue, we are forced to take a look at raising fines and prices for copying. Currently, we charge .20 daily for overdue books, .25 for DVDs, .20 for black and white copies, and .30 color copies. We have a $2.00 price cap on all fines. Here's my question. What do you charge for fines at your library? What is your price cap? How much do you charge for both color and black and white copies? I would also appreciate any ideas to increase revenue.
