Opportunity for Michigan libraries - Excellence in Library Programming Award

Forwarded from ALA... The American Library Association (ALA) is currently accepting applications for the 2019 ALA Excellence in Library Programming Award. The Excellence in Library Programming Award recognizes a library that demonstrates excellence in library programming by creating a cultural/thematic program or program series that engages the community, addresses an identified community need, and has a measurable impact. Programs eligible for the 2019 award must have taken place between September 1, 2017, and August 31, 2018. The award consists of $5,000 and a citation of achievement, to be presented during the ALA Award Presentation at the ALA Annual Conference.
