Dr. Amelia Siders will be our presenter, she is the Director of Clinical Practice Development and Education, at the Children's Advocacy Centers of Michigan. Children's Advocacy Centers (CACs) partner with prosecutors, law enforcement, and protective services to coordinate the investigation of child maltreatment-often child sexual abuse. Storyteller and Narrative Consultant, Jenifer Strauss will model a Ready-to-Use Parent Presentation that librarians can use to encourage parents to engage their children in quality language experiences during the course of a regular day with their kids.
