The Genesee District Library is currently seeking a Temporary Business Librarian at our Grand Blanc-McFarlen branch. This position will have dedicated full-time hours through February 9, 2020. JOB SUMMARY Under the guidance of the Senior Branch Librarian, provides quick reference, detailed research, circulation and reader's advisory assistance. Provides support services to entrepreneurs and small businesses. Provides one-on-one and group training for library patrons and staff; works with Community Relations Manager to provide programming for adults on entrepreneurial and small business topics. Develops and maintains the business library collection; and performs professional work in reference, collection development, reader's advisory service and other specific fields. QUALIFICATIONS * Master's Degree in Library Science from an American Library Association accredited institution. * Experience in business library setting or strong reference skills and proficiency in the business area is a preferred qualification.
