Bring puppets into your library in a whole new way. Based on techniques developed by the folks behind the production of *War Horse, *you’ll use big pieces of newsprint to create a low-fi version of traditional *bunraku *puppets. In *bunraku, *puppets are essentially life-sized creatures controlled with a team of visible operators, not string. Learn to make them “breathe,” move, and come to life. We’ll also explore a smaller, tabletop version.
