Giving Business owners library cards
Hello All, Do any of your libraries issue library cards to individuals who own a business within your service area but have their home residence outside of your service area? We have business owners who would like to get cards because they pay property taxes within our service area. However, their primary residence is outside of our service area. We serve the city and the township. As long as they own property and pay taxes we will issue them a library card, even if their primary residence is not in our service area. We offer cards to any residents or property owners in our service area. If they own property in your area, they are paying taxes on that property to the library. That should get them a card. We issue courtesy cards to any business member or city employee of Oak Park. However, these cards are only good in our library and not our surrounding TLN libraries.
