Hi, We're on the search for a picture book for a patron that she read while growing up in the late 70s or early 80s. It is about a community of trolls (or otherwise green things) who dug and lived underground. She said it wasn't a scary book at all. She also said that when they got sad, they took a nap in the cemetary. I tried a "troll picture book" search on Google and showed her 5-6 covers but she said none of them were the book. If anyone has a clue, please send me an email off list. Thank you! It wouldn't be Fraggle Rock would it? Or the Land of Ogg. -Steve ________________________________ From: michlib-l-bounces@mcls.org <michlib-l-bounces@mcls.org> on behalf of Andy Schuck <aschuck@tadl.org> Sent: Thursday, October 20, 2016 4:38 PM To: michlib-l@mcls.org Subject: [Michlib-l] Troll picture book Hi, We're on the search for a picture book for a patron that she read while growing up in the late 70s or early 80s. Thanks to everyone who responded to my Troll picture book search. We narrowed it down to 3 books and the patron wanted to spend some time reviewing the possible titles. This is what we came up with: - D'aulaires Trolls - The Troll Book by Mike Berenstain - Bugg Book series by Steven Cosgrove (not about trolls and published a little later, but similar in tone) If I hear anything back from her, I will let you know. Thanks for your help!
