Greetings from N. Michigan, where fall is finally here and apples are ending their harvest. Some of you may remember about a year ago, I solicited info for a presentation I did for Nerd Nite Traverse City called "Not Your Mother's Librarian." The presentation started from the birth of librarianship to libraries in the 21st C. I included all sorts of stuff, such as what librarians and library workers do for fun outside of work, how libraries incorporate into their community, what their degrees were in, and how librarians are portrayed in pop culture. The presentation went really well! I know many of you were interested, but the hike to TC in January was not feasible. With that being said, I'm thrilled to announce I'm giving the presentation virtually on Tuesday, November 25th at 11 a.m.!
