1000 Letters Home WWII

Teresa Irish spoke at the Flint Public Library on her book A 1000 Letters Home. If you have heard her presentation you know what a wonderful experience it is for the audience. We had three WWII veterans in our audience as well as several people who have heard Teresa's presentation at other libraries. It was wonderful event; I have never had a program end with the audience deciding to sing God Bless America! It was great program for those who served in the war, their children or those who many not even realize the sacrifices that were made during WWII. I agree - well researched, well organized, and excellent speaker. She brought lots of pix that my audience loved. I'm so glad to hear all of the positive praise for Teresa Irish's program. Thank you everyone for sharing. We have joined forces with our local history center and will have her here to speak in July. I had heard rave reviews before, but to keep hearing them makes me feel even better about our decision to bring her here. I can't wait to see her in action for myself. I'm sure it will be a great presentation. Jennifer Senger Berrien Springs Community Library 215 W.
