I just decided to do this in October too. I'm doing it every Thursday throughout the month. If we get some interest I'm thinking of adding our location on The Silent Book Club website. I have a Silent Book Club. We meet the 4th Saturday of the month at 3:30 at a local coffee shop. 1 hour of silent reading and then optional discussion at 4:30. People who don’t want to stay for the discussion usually get up and leave before it starts. Sometimes we talk about what we’re reading, sometimes we just chat about anything. I have regulars, some months I get 20 people, some months I get 3-5. I am currently looking into ours becoming a chapter of the official Silent Book Club organization.
