Disability Network Southwest Michigan presents: Introduction to Neurodiversity – May 11 at 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

This workshop introduces the concept of neurodiversity as the natural diversity of human brains and minds and explores the neurodiversity movement as a human rights framework. Participants will examine how neurodiversity shapes sensory, movement, and communication differences, the impact of ableism on people with brain-based disabilities, and practical ways to support the neurodiversity movement.

Instructor: Max Hornick (they/them) is a Community Education Coordinator for Disability Network Southwest Michigan, where they have worked since 2018.
