My apologies but apparently we’ve flooded Anne with too many requests. Please hold your thoughts on ordering and I’m going to see if we can arrange something better. Original emails about this offer went out starting in August of 2016, but the last post was April. Now that August is almost here I guess we have a strong renewed interest that’s too much for her to process at this level.

I spoke to Anne Holland at the NASA table representing the Space Science Institute at ALA. She said she still has solar eclipse glasses available and if you wanted a quantity smaller than 1,000 she may be able to ship those to you now. You can email her directly with an order (100+ please) at aholland@spacescience.org<mailto:aholland@spacescience.org <mailto:aholland@spacescience.org%3cmailto:aholland@spacescience.org>>. If she runs out of shipping materials, she may have to continue to send out 1,000, so consider partnering with a library in your cooperative to share!
I got the impression there will be many of the public asking for these glasses come August and NASA will be directing folks to check with their local library.
