Hi all,

Participating in Earth Day activities in Lansing, I was reminded of the varied science resources available in MeL databases for students of all ages.  World Book Kids offers Science Project ideas for grades PreK-5. Research in Context’s science topics for grades 6-8, range from astronomy to weathering and erosion. Britannica School – High covers science in articles, images, videos, ebooks, and primary sources. Academic OneFile includes peer-reviewed articles from leading world journals and reference sources in the physical sciences useful for college level students and professionals. Look to these MeL databases for up-to-date, reliable and accurate content for student scientists of all ages. Michigan residents or Michigan library access only.

MeL Minutes are brought to you by the Library of Michigan.  Want more information on MeL?  Stay tuned for next week’s MeL Minute available on many Michigan library listservs, email us at contact@mel.org or visit mel.org.  We encourage you to share MeL Minutes with your public service colleagues.
