Hi Andrea,

Our paths cross again. I am back in the public library world. I became director here Sept. 17. Fantastic job with a great staff and board.

The Presque Isle District Library in Rogers City just live streamed a League of Women Voters program from the Alpena County Library on Sept. 24. I was there. So I would contact Amber at PIDL. I'm sorry I don't know who the tech person at Alpena County Library is---I was not involved with the setup.

Maybe I will see you at MLA. Michigan library rules and regs are much simpler than DLGF and SBOA.

Best,

Rose Frost

Anyone out there streaming or recording library programs?
What platforms are you using?
Any special equipment you would recommend?
Do you have forms for presenters which allow the presentation to be recorded/streamed?
How are you making these accessible later?
Any advice for streaming vs recording for later access only?

We've got a few patrons who are basically home bound in the winter. They've been requesting this service, and this is the year we're going to make it happen (for some of our programming).

Any advice is appreciated!!
