Author Marney Rich Keenan presents the most comprehensive examination and investigation into the kidnapping and murder of four children from affluent Detroit suburbs during 1976 and 1977. A veteran journalist, Keenan takes the reader inside the investigation, revealing how law enforcement concealed evidence connecting the suspect to the children's murders rather than risk letting a terrorized community know they had committed a grave error: they had the suspect in custody and then let him go. Marney Rich Keenan is an award-winning reporter and columnist, retired after 26 years with the Detroit News.
