Public library staff that work with youth are invited to join LM’s Youth Services Advisory Council (YSAC) for networking and discussion. In October we'll have special guest Kristin Fontichiaro from UM's School of Information. We'll also discuss what parents
and families need to know about A.I. Come prepared to share, network, and explore!
MiYouth meets quarterly (months vary) on the 2nd Tuesday at 2pm. Looking forward to seeing you this afternoon if you can make it.

In partnership with the Collaborative Summer Library Program, SciStarter will again provide resources to support your 2027 summer programming and level up your STEM offerings.

Making Training Stick: A Playful Approach to Learning (ALA Core Classroom)
With instructors: Dr. Betsy Diamant-Cohen, Dr. Lindsay O’Neill, Paul Signorelli, Dorothy Stoltz. A three-week asynchronous Core Classroom, each weekly Zoom session lasting 60 minutes (recommended but not mandatory) combined with 3 - 4 hours coursework each
week.
Building Family Service Partnerships through Community Outreach Programs (Library Juice Academy)
With instructor: Dorothy Stoltz. The spirit of collaboration is a natural force within humanity. This four-week asynchronous course involves about 15 hours of work (3.75 hours per week) including learning from readings, videos, assignments, and class participation. $250.00
Credits: 1.5 CEUs or 15 PDHs
