[Michlib-l] Gratiot County Libraries Millage Request Is Approved By County Voters

The Gratiot County Libraries Committee was very pleased with the approval of a ballot issue, during Tuesday's primary election, for a .5 mill levy to be used by all of the counties' libraries. This was the first time a ballot issue had been attempted, and the county electorate supported the libraries' request in an almost 2 to 1 response. Chairperson, Jess Little, Cutler Memorial Library, St. Louis, Michigan, managed a well-run county effort that will benefit all of Gratiot County's residents. --Bryan Dinwoody, on behalf of the Gratiot County Libraries Committee
