Are you Instragram savvy?  Know your e-newsletter rocks?  Are well versed in community surveys?  Have another idea?  We are looking for you to lead a learning session - this is an informal presentation to help the group learn about a marketing topic.  Please let me know if you have ideas or better yet will volunteer to lead a learning session.  

I am proud to be a member of the new Library PR and Marketing work group through MLA.  Our goal as a group is to find and implement creative ways to promote Michigan libraries at a large scale. We also plan to do a state-wide, multi-year public relations campaign to promote the importance and relevance of libraires – and educate residents, including elected officials and legislators, about library services that go beyond books.  If you are interested in joining let Rachel Ash know at rfash@milibraries.org.  

We will also be using this listserv as a way to bounce ideas, gather input and share our progress so be on the lookout for more.
