We offer cards to any residents or property owners in our service area. If they own property in your area, they are paying taxes on that property to the library. That should get them a card. The alternative is ticked-off tax payers, which is never a good thing! Hope this helps! For more information, please call 517-629-3993 or visit us at 501 S. Superior Street in downtown Albion. Hello All,
Do any of your libraries issue library cards to individuals who own a business within your service area but have their home residence outside of your service area? We have business owners who would like to get cards because they pay property taxes within our service area. However, their primary residence is outside of our service area. I would be interested to know if anyone has a policy regarding this type of situation.
Thanks in advance.
