Timely Topics: 2021 in Review

Special Collections team members Bernadette Bartlett and Diane Donham keep a sharp eye on the news for important issues during the academic year, and produce a monthly, themed bulletin called Timely Topics. Geared toward the needs of state employees, policy makers, and researchers Timely Topics provides path-finders to reliable information sources on each month's topic as well as a well-researched synopsis of the month's theme. This December's issue provides a look back over the year as well as updates on changes from earlier issues.

Snowman MusicMichigan's Winter Music

While the days are short and the nights are cold, winter can feel endless in Michigan. This phenomenon has not been lost on Michigan musicians and song-writers. Winter, holidays, snow, cold, lights and the results of cabin fever all provide rich material for a broad spectrum of musical genres.
