The Clinton-Macomb Public Library is seeking its next Head of Collection Management / Co-System Administrator to lead the work of our strategic focus on exceptional collections<https://cms3.revize.com/revize/clintonlibrary/Documents/About/the%20Board%20of%20Trustees/2023-Strategic-Plan.pdf>. The person in this unique role gets to propose an annual materials budget of over $1M in collaboration with the Head of Adult Services and Head of Children's and Teen Services. This person oversees the Collection Management staff and processes to quickly get new items in the hands of our customers. As a co-system administrator of our Polaris ILS, this person oversees the cataloging and acquisitions modules and helps train our team of 20+ librarians who order for the collections. CMPL is a growing district library system with a staff of 150 serving nearly 200,000 residents in suburban Detroit with three modern, clean facilities and extensive outreach services.
