Please join us for the SEMLOL Spring meeting, which will take place on April 15th, 2016, from 1-4pm at Lawrence Technological University. The meeting program consists of three presentations that focus on the theme of "Library Collaborations”-- 

“Town-Gown Partnerships”

David Carter, University of Michigan and Ann Drozd, Ann Arbor District Library

 “Making Connections with Health Care Information”

Elizabeth Bucciarelli, Eastern Michigan University

“Crossroads for Success”

Judith Arnold, Veronica Bielat, and Katrina Rouan, Wayne State University 

The Executive Board is also proposing a change to the following language in the By-Laws, to be decided by the membership at the Spring Membership Meeting.

EXISTING:

Article 7. OFFICERS
Section 2: The Chair Elect shall be elected annually. The Chair Elect shall serve for two years, the first as Chair Elect and the second as Chair. The Chair, upon completion of his/her duties, may remain on the Executive Board ex officio, without vote, for one year. The Secretary shall be elected in even-numbered years by the General Membership at the Annual Meeting and shall serve a two-year term.

PROPOSED:

Article 7. OFFICERS
