Collaborating Partners 2018 Workshop Announcement

The Collaborating Partners – Michigan Cooperative Directors Association, Library of Michigan, Midwest Collaborative for Library Services, Michigan Library Association, and MiALA – have scheduled a workshop focused on Library Accessibility.

Date: Friday, November 9, 2018

Location: Grand Valley State University, Eberhard Center, Grand Rapids

Audience: Directors, Board Members, Library Staff

Topics will include:

· designing new buildings and renovating older ones

· overcoming barriers to access in collections and programming

· advocating for disabled patrons

· providing access to websites and online materials

· complying to ADA legal requirements
