The Hackley Public Library in Muskegon, MI is seeking a friendly, enthusiastic and creative full time adult services librarian for our diverse and dynamic Lake Michigan shoreline community in our historic library.  General responsibilities include reference service, readers advisory, collection development, and web content as well as leading the adult programs team. 

 

Requirements:  ALA MLS preferred, or BA plus enrollment in an accredited MLS program.  1 year of public library experience preferred.  Must have great public service skills, organizational skills and teamwork.  Desired:  able to leap one tall building in two or three bounds.  Full time, full benefits, EOE.  Hiring range $37,860 - $45,498 DOQ.  Work hard, make a difference, and have fun in a lakeshore city that’s on the move.
