I wonder if there might be interest in sharing about our upcoming inaugural Downtown Poetry Walk submission opening. The St. Joseph/ Maud Preston Palenske Memorial Library is now accepting submissions for original works of poetry for our inaugural Downtown Poetry Walk- themed "Transitions." Interested parties from ALL over Michigan can see our website for details: www.librarybythelake.org including the downloadable submission form and instructions. Poems will need to be: * Family Friendly * Limit 2 per person * Must be in MS word or text format (.doc, .docx, .txt) Submissions are open to all ages, but under 18 participants require parental consent. The 2026 Downtown Poetry Walk will be held in April, with poems displayed in the storefront windows of participating downtown St. Joseph locations. The poster-sized poems will include a QR code for a "digital walk" as well. Please use the attached social media flyer, and/ or print flyer to share with your library patrons, if you are so inclined. Thank you so much!
