CRYSTAL FALLS DISTRICT COMMUNITY LIBRARY Position: Library Director 30 hours/week Salary: Negotiable Application Deadline: April 6th, 2019 Position available starting: April 22nd, 2019 General Summary: The Library Director is responsible for managing the daily operations and budget of the Crystal Falls District Community Library. The Library Director recommends policies and services to the Library Board and works with the Board to ensure the efficiency of the Library. The Library Director promotes library service to all potential users. Education: College degree preferred Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent Qualified candidates must meet the State Aid to Public Libraries certification requirements of a Class I public library director. Performance Requirements: Works under the direction of the Library Board. Must possess effective communication skills. Needs a working knowledge of the Library's policies and procedures. Must have computer skills. Must know how the Library operates in order to keep it running smoothly.
