Reminder that this survey closes on Friday, March 27th!
The Library of Michigan is conducting a survey to gather information about memory labs and related digitization and media conversion services offered by public and academic libraries across Michigan. The data collected will be used to create a comprehensive, publicly accessible map and index of memory labs in the state, helping residents and organizations easily locate available equipment, services, and expertise.
In addition, survey responses will inform efforts to improve discoverability of digitization and media conversion services, strengthen communication among institutions, and explore the development of a Michigan memory lab network. By identifying existing resources
and areas of need, this initiative aims to support collaboration among libraries and increase public access to tools and professional guidance that help preserve personal, family, and community history.
