Love Library Data: Project Outcome 101 webinar on Feb. 16

To celebrate Love Data Week 2022, the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) and the Public Library Association (PLA) invite you to learn about outcome measurement in libraries in a free webinar on Feb. 16 at 1:00 p.m. Central. Project Outcome is a free toolkit that helps libraries measure and assess the outcomes of key library programs and services. In this free webinar, participants will be introduced to everything the Project Outcome toolkit has to offer. Learn how to measure meaningful learning outcomes and how Project Outcome can help at every step in the process—from administering surveys to presenting the results. This webinar is free, but registration is required.

Upcoming webinar teaches data storytelling on Feb. 22

Do your eyes glaze over at the sound of the word “data” or the sight of a table? Telling an engaging story makes data more powerful and meaningful to its intended audiences. Narratives communicate data in ways that can effectively showcase community needs or the impact of your library’s services, programs, and collections. Learn how to use data to tell a compelling story about the library and its role in the community in a free webinar, Data Storytelling: Advocating for the Library and Community, on Feb. 22 at 1:00 p.m. Central. Presenters will cover the basics of data storytelling and provide examples of using Census data to advocate for digital equity and influence community engagement and decision-making. This webinar is free, but registration is required.
