JOB POSTING

TITLE: Children’s Librarian
Full Time – 34 hr. pr. wk.
Schedule includes: day, evening and weekend hours when needed

SALARY: Will be discussed during interview

BENEFITS: Retirement, life insurance, optional 457 plans, holidays, vacation, personal day and sick time.

DUTIES: Planning and conduction programs which would include programs for all ages of children. Other duties include helping children with reference questions, on computers, coordinating with schools and parents, selection of materials for the children’s collection and assisting at the circulation desk when necessary.

REQUIREMENTS:  Associate’s degree preferred or some experience working with children and teens.  Preference will be given to those who are enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program.
