Mitch Albom, best-selling author and Detroit Free Press columnist, is appearing in Alpena on Saturday, November 3 at 12pm at the Fletcher Street Depot in downtown Alpena.  Tickets are $25 and include a copy of Albom's newest book, The Next Person You Meet in Heaven, which is a sequel to The Five People You Meet in Heaven.  Information on tickets is available at www.alpenalibrary.org/authorvisit.  Tickets are selling fast and proceeds benefit the Alpena County George N.
